1. What is school bullying?
• School bullying includes psychological, emotional, cyber, social or physical harassment of one student by another at school.
• Bullying can occur in kindergarten, primary school and secondary school, university. It can happen in any school!
What are some of the forms of bullying?
• Verbal (most common, most painful & longest lasting impact), eg. harassment and name-calling • Threats • Malicious rumours • Physical violence
• Cyber bullying (may be traced and blocked)
• Anti-social (exclusion, gossip and non-verbal body language)
Bullying can range from

• Most children have the potential to bully, become a bystander or be targeted.
• Both parents and teachers can bully or experience bullying within the school community. 2. What is ADHD?
ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood. It is usually first

3. What is specific learning disorder?
Specific learning disorders are neurodevelopmental disorders that are typically diagnosed in early school
aged children, although may not be recognized until adulthood. They are characterized at least one of
three major areas: reading, written expression, or math. Diagnosis

in school, work or activities.

Depression is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you
think and how you act. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities you
once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease your ability to function at work and at home.
Depression symptoms can vary from mild to severe and can include:
Feeling sad or having a depressed mood
Loss of interest or pleasure in activities once enjoyed
Changes in appetite — weight loss or gain unrelated to dieting
Trouble sleeping or sleeping too much
Loss of energy or increased fatigue
