Opinions vary regarding the significance of school subjects. While many believe that history is of supreme importance in today’s school program, others argue that science subjects are more crucial given their current and potential immense contributions to the development of the world. In my opinion, I agree with the latter assertion.

The primary reason why history is considered to be one of the core subjects in school by many people is because of its ability to instill a sense of patriotism in students. For example, history lessons provide Vietnamese students with a comprehensive understanding about of the wars that have shaped their country’s history taking place in Vietnam over the course of the history.
