LESSON 1: I’M LI YANG
Hi, I’m Li Yang. I’m from Quang Chou. It’s a very exciting city.
People from all over the world enjoy living and working in Quang
Chou. I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m easy–
going and friendly. I like listening to music and swimming.
But, most of all, I love speaking English. My dream is to be a tou
guide someday. I’m really excited to be here and I’m very happy to meet you all. Thank you!
LESSON 2: MY AMERICAN FRIEND CAROL
This is my American friend Carol. She’s from Chicago. Now
she lives in Shenzhen. She likes Shenzhen because she enjoys
life. Chicago and Shenzhen are both big, exciting cities.
She teaches English in a small college here. Her classes are ver
popular because she’s a great teacher. She loves all
her students and her students love her. Carol helps me a lot with
English. Because of Carol, I’m the best English speaker in my
class. I’m really lucky to have Carol as my friend.
LESSON 3: I HAVE A HAPPY FAMILY
I have a very happy family. My parents and I get along very well.
I’m a senior student. My dad is a great police officer. He has a
good sense of humor. He loves telling jokes. My mom is a
wonderful English teacher. She’s very smart, patient and kind. She
teaches me lots of things. We enjoy spending time together. We
can talk about anything. We always support each other and we lo
each other very much. My family is the best. Happy families mak
society strong. I hope that every family can be as happy as mine
