Talk about the place you would like to visit this weekend.
I would love to choose Nha Trang as the destination that I visit this Sunday.
Nha Trang is a coastal city of Khanh Hoa province, located in southern
Vietnam and also known for its stunning beaches and vibrant underwater
world. The reason why I would like to visit that “city of beaches” is my
expression about Nha Trang when I was there five years ago. Firstly, it is
amazing to look down from the plane a paradise of white sandy beaches,
crystal-clear turquoise waters and lush greenery. I am a big fan of beautiful
beaches and Nha Trang has renowned beaches with their golden sands and
clear waters are incredibly enticing. When you sit down on the beach, you will
have a chance to relax, soak up the sun and sometimes you can swim in the
refreshing sea, that is a wonderful experience. Second, I am fascinated by the
underwater world and Nha Trang offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling
and scuba diving. Exploring the vibrant coral reefs and encountering a diverse
array of marrine life would be a memorable experience. And lastly, I love Nha
Trang and I want to visit it because of its delicious local cuisine. The city has
many kinds of sea food such as lopster, sea crab, snail, giant squid, octopus…
and an array of tropical fish. In conclusion, Nha Trang will be a wonderful
destination for whom love beaches and other activities under water, as well as
the fresh seafood it brings to us. Student A – 2/16
Talk about the career you are being trained for.
I have a dream to become a procurator in the future and now I am studying at a
university which is training the People’s Procuracy Law, it is Hanoi
Procuratorate University, located in Hanoi, Vietnam. I love this job because it
brings the equity to everyone in the society. Becoming a procurator and
working in the Administrative agency of People’s Procuracy, I have to fight with
many criminal groups in every espects of life. To be able to do this career, I
need to be trained for a Bachelor of Laws, it will take four years at university.
And then, I will take part in the Recruitment of civil servants Exam. If I pass, I
will be appointed with Legal expert title. I think this job is perfect because I can
have a strong foundation of knowledge related to Law. Fighting with many
kinds of criminals is also my dream when I was a child. On top of that, I would
say my work of a procurator is a chance for me to have many relationships with Made by Hai K10A and Nam K10C P a g e | 2
other legal activists and have a position in society and without the passion for
fighting with crime, my life means nothing. I am willing to give all my abilities to

Describe a street market which you enjoy visiting.
Going to the street market has been part and parcel of Vietnamese daily lives,
and so do I. You can spot them almost anywhere, from the corners of villages
to the heart of big city. For me, Dalat Flowers street market is the one which I
love to visit the most. It is a street market that opens all day long and located
just a few kilometers from the Central of Lamdong provice. This market has
been renowned as the paradise of flowers where numerous sourses of flowers
are supplied for retail vendors, and also as a famous destination for both
domestic and foreign tourists. Visitors can come and have the enjoyment of
many kind of beautiful flowers. Entering the market, you will immediately
overwhelmed with rows of colourful flowers strectching along the narrow
shopping aisles. There are white daisies, pink cherry blossoms, scarlet roses
and yellow sun flowers… all sold at relatively affordable prices. One of the
impressed point of Dalat Flowers street market is the different fragrants of
flowers which spread out all the market. You will immerse yourself in a beautiful
scene of flowers, enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and if you are a big fan of
photography, you can take plenty of photos with the fully blossoming and
gorgeous flowers in the background while wandering for hours from stalls to
stalls. The market is also famous for its beauty at night when colourful flowers
are lighten by a huge of different flashlights. There has had a large number of
artists who find the inspiration of flowers and the life at night of the market. It
will be a memorable visiting and have much interesting things in this market. Student A – 5
Describe the most useful household appliance that you have.
I use a large number of useful household appliances especially in the kitchen
and the most helpful one that I have is the microwave. I have been using a
microwave for years now and it has become an essential feature of my kitchen.
Cooking is almost incomplete without a use of microwave as I use it regularly.
Every morning, I use it when I boil eggs for myself along with a glass of milk Made by Hai K10A and Nam K10C P a g e | 3
and I can say that before every meal I make use of this particular applicance as
I heat up the food in the microwave, it does its work within a few minutes and
saves so much time and energy. Another interesting fact about using the
microwave is it keeps intact nutritious food better than cooking food on the
stove or other appliances. A microwave is used for preparing healhty meals
and that is the reason why doctors recommend the use of it. Last but not least,
I can also prepare some special dishes or fast foods for example, Pizza
because I have an interest in cooking, on the weekend especially on Sunday, I
follow some recipes through youtube videos and prepare something special for
my family at home. In general, the microwave is an appliance which useful and
practical that I use for cooking at home. Student A – 6/12
Decribe a person you love most.
My mother is a person I admire most. She devoted a lot of time and energy to
the upbringing of my two sisters and I. Despite working hard, she always made
time to teach us many useful things which are necessary and important in our
later lives. Moreover, she is a good role model for me to follow. She always
tries to get on well with people who live next door and help everyone when
they are in difficulties, so most of them respect and love her. I admire and love
my mother so much because she can sacrifice everything for me. There is an
unforgetable memory that makes me love my mom much more. That night, I
had an illness and I felt so sick that could not even stand, my mom spent a
sleepless night to take care of me carefully. She helped me took medicine and
after a night, I felt much more better and my mom was very tired, sleepy. She
not only brings me up well but also stands by me and gives some help if
necessary. For example, when I encounter some difficulties, she will give me
some precious advice to help me solve those problems. She has a major
influence on me and I hope that I will inherit some of her traits. I love her so
much and I will try my best to make her happy. Student A – 7
Decribe someone you know who dresses well.
The person that I am going to describe is my brother, Mathew. He is a
fashionista who likes to dress in the lastest trends and styles. He is always up-
to-date with the newest fashion trends and designers, and he spends so much
time for shopping. My brother has an eye for fashion and is very particular Made by Hai K10A and Nam K10C P a g e | 4
about his outfits. His style is always trendy and sophisticated because he
carefully chooses his clothes based on the occasion, the weather and his
mood. He never leaves house without putting the effort to look him best. He
like to wear various types of dresses, I have seen he worn formal pants, shirts,
ties and Italian designer shoes sometimes, and then simply a pair of loose
trousers, T-shirts and simple sandals at other time. I am no fashion or dress
expert but I can spot someone who dresses well, my brother is one such
person who would stand out from the crowd. It is not because he wear
designer clothes, but perhaps because he has a nice fashion and he always

Located at Ngoc Ha street in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh district, Ho Chi Minh Museum is
one of the largest museums in Vietnam, storing artifacts and meterials from the
life of President Ho Chi Minh. Ho Chi Minh Museum was designed in the shape
of a white lotus of nearly 20 meters height, symbolizing the simple, but refined
life of President Ho Chi Minh and demonstrating the respect and profound
gratitude of the Vietnamese people toward their beloved leader and their
determination to follow his revolutionary path. Ho Chi Minh Museum is divided
into 3 floors with many different things to explore about the life, career, and
influence of President Ho Chi Minh. More than 17,000 documents, articles,
photos and exhibits about President Ho Chi Minh are archived at the museum.
The museum’s library holds more than 6,000 books and around 26,000 articles
about President Ho that have been published in many local and national
magazines and newspapers. Ho Chi Minh Museum is also a familiar place for
historical researchers. The management board of the museum regularly sends
research groups to collect new findings about President Ho Chi Minh both in
Vietnam and other countries. This is also an ideal place to educate the patriotic spirit for students. Student A – 10

My favorite leisure activity is amusing activities with my roommates. We have
just been living together for one year, but we have developed excellent
friendship. We like to do many things together, such as watching movies,
playing games, cooking, or just chatting. I love having opportunity
accompanying my roommates because they are funny, supportive, and
courteous. They always make me laugh with their jokes and stories, and they
listen to me when I have something to share. They also help me with
household chores and other tasks. We have plenty average interests and
principles, so we never get bored of each other's company. I do this activity
almost every day, unless one of us is busy or away. We usually hang out in the
evening, after we finish our work or studies. Sometimes we invite other friends
over, or we go out to a shopping centre or a pedestrian street. We always have
a great time together and we look forward to the next day. Hanging out with my
roommates is not only fun, but also relaxing and pleasing. It helps me lessen
the strain, improve my mood, and strengthen our friendship.

Talk about your favorite means of transport.
There are so many reasons why I adore riding my bike. Let me tell you some of
them. First of all, it's an excellent habit to assure the environment. When I bike,
I don't contribute to air pollution, noise pollution or greenhouse gas emissions. I
also save abundant of money on gas, parking and maintenance. Secondly,
biking is a wonderful way to improve my health. It enhances my cardiovascular
fitness, strengthens my muscles and bones, and burns calories. It also
improves my mood and mental well-being. Biking makes me feel happy, free
and alive. Thirdly, biking is a fun and convenient way to travel. I can discover
new places, enjoy the scenery and meet new people. I can also avoid traffic
jams, find parking spots easily and get to my destination faster. Biking gives
me a sense of adventure and independence. So, these are some of the
reasons why I love biking. It's not only a means of transport, but also a hobby, a lifestyle and a passion. Student A – 14
Talk about a book you have read and learned something from.
One book that I have read and learned something from is Búp sen xanh - The
Green Lotus Bud by Sơn Tùng. I read this book online about a month ago, Made by Hai K10A and Nam K10C P a g e | 6
when I was browsing for information about the 1st President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.`
This book is a historical novel that depicts the life of Hồ Chí Minh, the founding
father of modern Vietnam, from his childhood to his departure from Saigon in
1911. It portrays his family background, his education, his patriotism, his
struggles, and his aspirations. It also shows the social and political context of
Vietnam under French colonial rule and the emergence of the nationalist movement.
I read this book because I was curious about Hồ Chí Minh and his role in world
history. I wanted to know more about his personality, his motivations, and his
vision. I also wanted to learn about the culture and the people of Vietnam in the
early 20th century. And from this book, I learned a lot of things.
This book is very interesting and informative that gives me a deeper
understanding of Hồ Chí Minh and motherland history. It also inspired me to
follow his example of patriotism, courage, wisdom, and humanity. And as a
Vietnamese people, I still forever remember by heart. Student A – 15/3
Talk about a television program that you like to watch.
A television program that I like to watch is Hành trình công lý. This is a
documentary program about famous criminal cases in Vietnam, hosted by a
companion who is a procurator. The program shows the process of
investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of the cases, as well as the
difficulties and challenges that the authorities have to face. The program also
introduces the life and work of the procurators, who always strive to protect
justice and the rights of the people.
I usually watch this program once a week, on Saturday night on VTV3 channel.
I like watching this program because it is very attractive and informative. I can
learn more about the law, society and people of Vietnam through the real
stories in the program. I also admire and respect the procurators who have
contributed to bringing justice to society. Hành trình công lý is a meaningful

Describe a useful app or computer program for a smartphone, computer

One app that I have used and found very useful is Notion. Notion is a
productivity and note-taking web application that offers organizational tools
such as task management, project tracking, to-do lists, bookmarking, and
more. I have been using Notion for about a year now, and I use it almost every
day for various purposes. One of the things that I use Notion for are writing
notes and documents, managing projects and tasks, saving and displaying
bookmarks, collaborating with others. I think Notion is a useful app because it
helps me organize my work and life in one place. It is also very flexible and
customizable, so I can tailor it to my needs and preferences. Notion is like a
digital workspace where I can create, manage, and share anything I want. Student A – 18/11 Student A – 19
Describe someone you know who cooks well.
I think that we all love to know about good foods and how they are prepared.
But, I think that it is also a good thing that we sometimes know about the
person who works so hard to prepare those foods from behind. I would love to
talk about Cô Linda (mỏ hỗn xì tin) who works at local restaurant as a chef, is a
great cook. Linda is my friend and we have being friend for five years. She a
pretty girl with brown short hair and a blue round eyes. And of course she
cooks very well. Linda is an expert in cooking different types of cuisine,
including Chinese, Thai, Indian and Continental. She has a huge knowledge of
many kinds of spices and herbs, and she knows how to blend them perfectly to
created a unique flavour. Her specialities include chiken curry, lamb chops, fish
tikka and stir-fried noodles. Linda's cooking is not only delicious, but it is also
beautifully presented. She pays attention to every detail, from the texture of the
food to the colours on the plate. She uses fresh and high-quality ingredients. I
believe Linda is an excellent chef because she has a natural talent for cooking,
and she has dedicated her life to perfecting her skills. Whenever I eat at the
restaurant, I am always impressed by the taste and presentation of the food,
