A/ INTRODUCTION
It's hard to say what's the best things in life, even as we write these lines. For
some people, friendship is the most valuable and cherished thing, others say
"Family is number 1", others say "Money is what decides everything"...or it's
simply just things. I like it and want to do it. You know, sometimes the most
important and valuable things in life are the simple things, such as being able to
do what you like and live the way you want.

Gerund = a noun ending in “ ing” that is formed from a verb.

Form: verbs of liking and disliking + V-ing.
Verbs of liking: like, love, enjoy, adore, fancy,…

1. Language focus 1: Gerunds (-ing forms) after verbs of liking and disliking:
 Gerund = a noun ending in “ ing” that is formed from a verb.

a. We use LIKE to talk about things that we enjoy.

b. We use WOULD LIKE to talk about things we want. I would like is more polite than I want.
