B: It’s not exactly the same thing. Organic food is used only natural substances,
that is, avoiding all artificial qualities, activators, antibiotics, or genetically modified organisms.
A: Oh, I see. Where would you like to eat?
B: I’ve been wanting to try the salad and roast beef. All their food is locally
sourced and vegan. It’s supposed to be really good.
A: I’m not sure what you mean by “vegan”. I've never heard of that before.
B: What I mean by a vegan is a person who does not eat or use any animal
products, such as meat, fish, eggs, cheese, or leather.
A: Oh, well, that sounds great.
Topic 7 ( unit 10) Tell your partner about one thing you'd like
to change about yourself and why.
A: I have an interview tomorrow. I'm a little nervous.
B: What kind of job are you hoping to get?
A: Well, I'm interviewing for the technical graphic design, but my long-term goal
is to become a drama, film and television actor
B: Wow, that's exciting. I didn't know you wanted to work in the movies. A: How about you?
B: I hope to get a job working with children. I'd like to work in the education field. I want to be a teacher.
A: You would be a great teacher.

Q: It’s about a young girl who lives with her stepmother and half-sister. She is
always treated unfairly by her stepmother.
D: Wow, that sounds really piteous.
Q: yeah, but it gets better. She was chosen by a king to be his wife, but the story doesn’t stop there. D: Then what happens?
Q: Then her stepmother always tries to harm her.
D: ok, this is starting to sound more dramatic.
Q: Eventually, the stepmother has to be punished by the king and she has a happy life. D: Wow, that’s great!

D: it’s a nice song, but I actually prefer more melancholy music.

B: Guess what! I think it’s true so the press reports it
A: You’ve got to be kidding. In my opinion, this scandal is gossip. If that gossip is true then it’s spotted.
B: Yeah, that makes sense! But of course, it might just be a rumor. A: alright.
