The 4th wave of Covid-19 has
disrupted the labor market in
2021. With the severe impact,
many businesses & employees are
facing a myriad of consequences,
therefore they constantly make
efforts to provide appropriate
solutions to maintain business
operations, optimize all the costs
and change working policy also
including the policy of working
remotely, allocating working
time, rotating shifts, considering
the reduction of personnel,
salary & benefits.
Facing the complicated impact of Covid-19 in 2021, what
should businesses and employers do to prevent the serious
consequences, and which ways can be applied to recover the
economy and HR industry by the end of 2021? In order to clear
the doubts and answer all these questions, VietnamWorks
officially introduces the report Covid-19 And The Labor
Market in 2021: Situations and Solutions.
Through this report, VietnamWorks expects to provide
specific perspectives on the impact of Covid-19 in 2021 on HR
industry before providing the orientations and solutions
which are applicable and suitable for both employees and
employers.

statistics, we see the survey completion
rate in Ho Chi Minh City accounts for
45.6%, Hanoi 35.8% and other regions
are 18.6%. The consequences of each
place might be different due to the
situation of social distancing and the
different timeline of applying the
government directives between provinces
and cities.
In addition, the assessment is also based
on the business scale to see how
Covid-19 makes the impact on business
operation and the process of recruitment.
