CHINA 7. TECHNOLOGY
7.1. Manufacturing technology in country
After more than 60 years of development, artificial intelligence (AI) has been widely used in many
different fields. Especially in recent years, with the development of deep learning, AI has made
remarkable achievements in the medical field. Dermatology, is a clinical specialty with the main
characteristics of morphology, especially suitable for the development of AI. The rapid development of
skin imaging technology has helped dermatologists support the diagnosis and significantly improve the
accuracy of diagnosis. Skin imaging data has natural big data properties, which are vital for AI research.
The establishment of the China Skin Imaging Database (CSID) has addressed many issues such as
isolated data islands and inconsistent data quality. Based on CSID, many pioneering achievements have
been achieved in AI-supported decision-making software research and development, establishment of
expert organizations, personnel training, and scientific research. [ CITATION Che211 \l 1066 ]
The successful application of AI in these disciplines has played a typical role in the development of
artificial intelligence in dermatology. Dermatology is a specialty based on morphological characteristics
and most diagnoses are based on visual visual recognition such as the shape, size and color of skin
lesions. This characteristic makes dermatology a promising field for applying AI's image recognition
capabilities to support diagnosis and management. [ CITATION Che211 \l 1066 ]
Youzhi AI Software (Shanghai Maise Information Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China) is an AI
decision-making system for skin tumors in China. The high diagnostic accuracy of Youzhi AI software
was previously verified in specific datasets. Its data is based on the China Skin Imaging Database (CSID),
which is now one of the largest skin imaging databases in China. Youzhi AI software was co-developed
by the CSID project team and Shanghai Maise Information Technology and trained from a data set of
over 200,000 microscopic images.[ CITATION Che19 \l 1066 ] The training model uses the built-in
neural network architecture of GoogLeNet Inception v4 [ CITATION Sze17 \l 1066 ] as the basis. The
segment branches have been added as outputs based on the classification branches. The training images
were labelled and classified by professional dermatologists. The diagnosis accuracy of benign and
malignant skin tumors reached 91.2%, the diagnosis of diseases reached 81.4 % and achieved an
international level of accurate identification. [ CITATION Che21 \l 1066 ]
7.2. Information systems
The information systems and data infrastructure for cosmetic pharmaceuticals in China are pretty good.
Established with the strong development of the technology sector globally, information systems are built
and stored on the basis of modern technology.
For example, CSAR (Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics) was issued and
published in China in June 2020. This is the first amendment to the CHSR (Regulations on Hygiene
Supervision of Cosmetics) since its publication in 1989. CSAR will launch an integrated and innovative
management system for cosmetics. Advanced concepts of monitoring, encouraging innovation, using
technical methods and emphasising scientific research are reflected in the regulations, which will
profoundly affect the development of both cosmetic products and new ingredients. 7.3. Summary
The development of manufacturing technology in dermatology has always surpassed successfully applied
in the medical field of dermatology. Besides, Chinese consumers have a lot of facial care needs, so this is
an opportunity for DrCeutics to bring consumer responses to the wire. Asian consumers are increasingly
demanding natural cosmetics, and China is no exception. Consumers are demanding natural products and
clean labels due to high quality and the presence of little or no toxic ingredients, DrCeutics is made with

Online shopping using e-commerce also affects Chinese consumers like Re.jd, taobao, 1688, Tmall,
Alibaba. Drceutics products can be sold on an e-commerce platform that is economical and user-friendly.
Consumers in China spend a significant amount of time reviewing products online and often make
purchasing decisions based on recommendations from family and friends. These factors have been and
are supporting growth through online sales channels. Moreover, e-commerce platforms in China are
increasingly influencing consumer purchases by providing a platform for beauty communities to share
their shopping and product experiences. Among the online channels, streaming has rapidly evolved into a
major cosmetics sales platform, often marketed to smart phone-intelligent consumers who shop through this method.
Selling products in retail stores or on e-commerce is a necessary step for DrCeutics to reach and explore
the Chinese cosmetic pharmaceutical market
