Composing a memo to suggest ideas | Bài tập nhóm học phần Business Communication | Trường Đại học Quốc tế, Đại học Quốc gia Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh

According to your worries, I am proposing some solutions to tightly control employee Internet access. Employees' productivity and business ethics might suffer significantly as a result of inappropriate Internet use during working hours. The 3 solutions are as follows: First, I suggest that the company inform employees in advance of its plan to monitor internet usage during work, and set specific penalties for mild to severe violations. The proposed punishment levels are a reminder, a warning, a fine or cutting bonus, and a dismissal if seriously affecting the company performance. Tài liệu giúp bạn tham khảo, ôn tập và đạt kết quả cao. Mời bạn đón xem.

MEMORANDUM
Date: March 19, 2022
To: Bruce Wayne, CEO
From: Pham Nguyen Hong Han, Human Resources Manager
Subject: Managing employee Internet access
According to your worries, I am proposing some solutions to tightly control employee Internet
access. Employees' productivity and business ethics might suffer significantly as a result of
inappropriate Internet use during working hours. The 3 solutions are as follows:
First, I suggest that the company inform employees in advance of its plan to monitor internet usage
during work, and set specific penalties for mild to severe violations. The proposed punishment
levels are a reminder, a warning, a fine or cutting bonus, and a dismissal if seriously affecting the
company performance.
Second, our company should use a tracking tool to manage employees' internet usage. Below is a
list of suggestions:
Name Advantages Disadvantages
Net Spy Pro Multi-device, easy installation. Expensive.
OpenDNS Easy to use, optimal, high compatibility Restricted with dynamic IP
Third, I suggest that the company consider the following questions to understand whether the
cause of the problem lies entirely with employees or the management system:
Does the manager create a favorable working environment for their employees?
Is the task assigned suit the employee’s working capacity?
Do employees constantly receive encouragement or motivation from their managers?
I hope that my suggestions will be taken into consideration/considered to prevent non-workrelated
Internet usage and improve productivity in the workplace. Are you available at 10AM on Monday,
