• I’d like to talk about myself

my hometown, I never see foreigners. So, I didn’t know the importance of learning English.
And I didn’t learn English at all.
• When I began to live at university, I was really worried about my English. I’ve tried a lot

Well, you know………..I’m a very friendly person…so I have a lot of friends. And one of

She/ he always helps me when I’m in need. She/ he helps me a lot with my English. Also,
she/ he’s very funny….you know…….she/ he usually makes me laugh when we talk with each other.
Why she/ he’s my best friend?..…I think.. it’s not difficult for me to answer this question.
We come from the same hometown…you know……it’s….city. And we have many
things in common/ the same hobbies………..you see……swimming, listening to music..
2 .Talking about one of your hobbies
Well, you know……………we have different hobbies. Some people may like indoor
games: computer games, video games…Some people may love outdoor
activities………..you know…..sports such as: football, volleyball, badminton…I myself
really enjoy listening to music.
I began to love music when I was at school…..I remember…. That was when I was 15
years old. My mother bought me a CD player.
I listen to music in my free time….you know…………..when I have meals or in the evening
– before going to bed. Listening to music really helps me relaxed.
3.Talking about one of the activities that you don’t like doing
Well, you know………..there are many activities I don’t like doing. The first thing is
playing sport. Everybody says that playing sport is good for health………but I feel very tired when playing sport.
The second thing I hate doing is washing dishes. I think everyone hates this activity. It’s

4 .Talking about your daily routines
Well, you know…My day is always busy. I get up at 6.30. Then I brush my teeth, wash my
face, and get dressed. Next, I have breakfast and start classes at 7 a.m. I study from 7 to
11.30. After class, I have lunch. In the afternoon, I do my homework and play sports to
keep fit. After dinner, I usually hang out with my friends. Sometimes, I stay home and
watch TV, listen to music. I often go to bed late, at about 11.30 p.m.
5 .Talking about your weekend activities
Well, you know……the weekends are the best time for me to enjoy myself, so…….I do a
lot of activities. Firstly, I go out with my friends. We sometimes go to the café, go to the
cinema or go to the park. I always have a great time with them. You know……….we chat
with one another about everything…..you know…….study, love, and student life.
Secondly, I go shopping for some food, drink, shoes, and clothes. I usually go to the
supermarket….you know…………Big C, Aeon… with my roommates. Finally, I go to
……guitar…….club. I think joining this club is very fun and informative. You know……
I can make a lot of friends. I also can learn how to play the guitar.
6 .Talking about your school activities
Well, you know…there are a lot of activities at my university. I go to classes: listen to
teacher and take notes. I go to lab to do more practice. I also play sports such as football
and basketball in PE lessons. I sometimes go to the library to read books. I often work in
groups to complete projects…you know….brainstorm ideas, design slides…I join guitar
clubs on Sunday evenings. I love playing the guitar.

Well, you know…I go shopping for food…you know…meat and vegetables at students’
market every day. At weekends, when I don’t have classes, I often go to book stores to read
or buy books. Sometimes, I go to the supermarket for clothes or shoes. I always go to Aeon
Mall with my best friends…you know…they can help me to choose the best clothes/ shoes.
8. Talking about your favorite store
Well, you know…I love shopping. I usually shop for clothes, shoes, and books. And, I
think I have to say that I really like the book store at ……………. Street. I love this store
for many reasons. Firstly, it’s very near my house. It takes me….you know……..only 10
minutes to walk there. Secondly, although it’s not very big, there are a lot of
books…………you know……………history books, computer books, English books.
Thirdly, I love this store because the shop owner is very friendly. You know……….I love
reading books but I don’t have much money to buy them. So, at weekends or whenever I
have free time, I go to the book store, I can find a corner to sit and read books freely. 9 .Talking about your family
Well, you know…………..I live in a small family with my father, mother, one sister and

You know………….I feel very happy and lucky because my family is so happy. We share
