WRITING PRACTICES TEST 1 TASK 2
In my case, I do believe that class attendance should be required seriously since it would help students
gain lectures from professors, interact with others to learn teamwork skills, and improve relationships.
First of all, appearing in class brings students opportunities to meet professors and gets practical advice
from them. Professors' lectures, with deep knowledge and experience, would provide students with
many experts. Lack of teachers’ guidance possibly leads to a shortage of understanding or even the
opposite of primary thoughts. Therefore, attending class should be strictly mandatory.
Secondly, in classes, students could learn how to co-operate with the others. By going to class and
interacting with other people, students are able to gain these experiences. Students who often stay at
home would face up with trouble when trying to join a public group in the future.
Another reason for students to appear in class is that they could improve their relationships with others.
While the study is the primary purpose of universities, meeting and making friends, in my opinion,
should be considered the task. Reality has shown that friends at school are essential for not only a
person’s ordinary life but also their career.
Finally, attending class could keep students away from distractions. A huge number of possible causes
might interrupt students from studying, for example, entertainment games, or even societal evil. In
contrast, universities provide students with an academic environment that help them focus on doing
research as well as motivate their thoughts about their career.
In conclusion, tremendous critical benefits obtained from compulsory class attendance are obvious.
Therefore, I strongly recommend that universities should consider attending class an indispensable part of their courses.
