A festival
Tet is a special day and important for all Vietnamese people . Tet is usually celebrated
around the end of january and marks the beginning of a new year in the lunar
calendar. The whole holiday spans about 2 weeks and it’s very important in
vietnamese culture . I’d say its significance is equivalent to that of christmas ans
thanksgiving in a lot of western country . In the weeks leading up to Tet, all homes
will clean the house to get rid of bad luck of the old year. People often put a five –
fruits tray on the altars to pay their respects to their ancestors and often buy peach
blossoms or kumquat trees to decorate their home. When it comes to Tet festival, it
will be an omission if we do not enjoy banh chung, a traditional dish of Tet. On the
first day of lunar new year, people often go to grandparents, relatives and neighbors’
houses to wish them health, success and a new year full of happiness. Children often
receive lucky money in a red envelope to celebrate their age from their parents or
relatives. Also on these days, people often go to churches or temples to pray for the
best things to their families.
Tet is a very meaningful and important occasion which is always expected by every
Vietnamese. Let’s forget the worries and enjoy the happy moments with your family.
Your free acticity
My free tim activity is reading. I like reading because it is a hobby that it is useful and
interesting . first , reading book not nly helps widen my knowledge but also makes me
love my life more . As you know , reference books provide ua with a lot of
information. Beside , novels stories which contain many romantic and education
contens can help me to control my feeling a great deal . Moreover , enjoying books
regularly gives me a good habit as I am more and more patient.especially , my ability
to express words fluently is better and better . therefore, I will be confident of
communicating with others .i love boos very much and perhaps , I couldn’t live
without them.
A telented person
steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Inc., remains an enduring inspiration in the world
of business and technology. In this essay, I will provide an overview of Steve Jobs,
describe his achievements, and explain why I deeply admire him.Steve Jobs was an
American entrepreneur and inventor. He co-founded Apple Inc. in 1976 and played a
pivotal role in shaping the technology industry. Under his leadership, Apple
introduced groundbreaking products like the iPhone, iPad,..., transforming how we
live, work, and communicate.Steve Jobs' impact on the world of technology is awe-
inspiring. His visionary leadership and innovation brought us revolutionary products
that reshaped entire industries.I deeply admire Steve Jobs for his relentless pursuit of
excellence and passion for pushing the boundaries of innovation..Steve Jobs' legacy as
a visionary entrepreneur continues to influence the world. Steve Jobs' story reminds
us of the power of passion, vision, and determination in achieving greatness.
I will tell you about a family member whom I fell close , and that person is my
mother. My mother is a pillar of strength who has been with me through thick and
thin. She is the person that made me the way I am today.
My mother and I did lots of things together. We often go shopping, discuss books we
read, or do chores together, but our favorite bonding activity is cooking. Enjoying the
meal afterward is always a treat, but what I treasure most is the time spent with my
mother preparing the ingredients, cooking the dishes, learning new recipes, and
catching up while we were at it. One time, I went home from university during the
holiday, and this trip home coincided with my family’s housewarming party. My
mother had prepared a special mushroom and chicken soup, and I told her I really
loved that dish. Little did I know, those words were enough for her to go out and buy
a massive supply of ingredients to make it again for the next three days with me. I
cherished that experience so much, and to this day, whenever I taste the soup, I am
reminded of my mother’s love.
And that story also clearly shows why I adore her so much. My mother loves her
children to bits and will go to great lengths to ensure our happiness. To her, nothing is
as important as her family, and so she makes her best efforts along with my father to
keep us fed and safe. My mother is a strong woman who has endured plenty of ups
and downs in her life, yet she is always all smiles to keep everyone optimistic. No
words can describe my admiration and gratitude for her.
